This tour is designed for a select small group to ensure a personal and distinctive boutique experience. With limited participants, everyone will have the chance to capture unique, individual shots, allowing for a diverse portfolio. Additionally, this intimate setting provides a rare opportunity for direct, hands-on learning from Gunnar in the field, enhancing both your skills and photographic insight, including direct insight into equine photography, drone photography and nature & landscape photography.

Tour Program

Day 1: Embark towards Iceland's captivating south coast, uncovering hidden gems along the journey.

Day 2: Capture the quintessential river crossing and the vibrant energy of horses in their wild state.

Day 3: Frame the majestic horses against a backdrop of expansive landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and towering mountains.

Day 4: Document the scenic return journey across the Rangá River and discover additional unique sites as we make our way back to the city.

Experience level

Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of photography and should be reasonably comfortable using their own equipment. While there are no stringent requirements, a foundational knowledge will help you make the most of our field shoots. If you have a drone and wish to enhance your aerial photography skills, you are encouraged to bring it along.

Accommodation

On the first night, we will be staying by the cozy cabins of Hekluhestar. Subsequent nights, we will be staying in mountain huts with the riders. Sleeping bags are provided.

We will be driving in Gunnars Red Jeep, a.k.a The Lava Jeep
