Private Photo Tour with Gunnar

Join Gunnar Freyr Gunnarsson, one of Iceland’s most well-known photographers on an epic adventure in his white Land Cruiser. Private day tours include a pickup at your hotel/location. Each tour is customised to wind & weather, what’s in season as well as your personal needs. This is the perfect way to adapt to the unpredictable Icelandic conditions and makes each tour a completely unique experience, just the way Gunnar likes it.

Tour examples include:

• South Coast Classics, black beaches and hidden gems

• Snæfellsnes Peninsula and lava exploration: explore the classics plus some really unique spots

• Golden Circle: the classics, as well as hidden gems and unique food stops

• Þórsmörk Adventure: Explore the valley of Thor with countless rivers, waterfalls and canyons (June-Oct Only)

• Landmannalaugar & Fjallabak: explore the hidden gems and the colourful rhyolite mountains of Landmannalaugar (June-Oct Only)

• Kerlingafjöll highland adventure (June-Sept Only)

  Tours usually start around 8:30 AM and finish around 7-8PM (can bit a bit shorter during winter months)

Get amazing pictures from your adventure!

Throughout the day, Gunnar will be taking pictures so you will have beautiful memories from your trip. Around 25 fully edited images are included in the price.

Some guests want more of a photoshoot style tour, and for those, an additional photography focused package is available (see below)

Price

EUR 2800 for the day-tour (1-4 guests). Full day, 25 images included.

Optional photography package: up to 100 images - EUR 1000 extra. (can be added at any time)

What’s included in the tour:

Transport and guidance from Gunnar. Each tour is a full day, with a morning pick up and the goal is to have you back by dinner-time.

For photographers, Gunnar will provide you with assistance to get the best possible shots, assistant with flying your drone etc.

Documentary style pictures taken by Gunnar. 25 fully edited images.

If you choose the optional photography package add-on, we will plan around the shots in advance and spend more time on pictures throughout the day.

Fresh cinnamon buns from Gunnar’s favourite bakery, hot coffee and chai!

Not included:

Meals and snacks not included but there will be stops for lunch, bathroom etc.

Cancellations:

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure will be refunded, minus a 10% transaction and service fee.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable.
